Each glazed ceramic dish has a scalloped rectangular shape with an ornate golden-yellow and black border.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe nostalgic illustration depicts a child reaching into a kitchen cupboard, accompanied by the playful slogan, “Stands highest in my estimation.”\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDisplay them on a kitchen shelf or drinks trolley, use them as trinket dishes or teaspoon rests, style them as part of a mid-century table setting, or add them to a gallery wall.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLord Nelson Pottery was associated with Elijah Cotton’s Nelson Pottery in Hanley, Staffordshire. The pottery works opened in 1885 and produced a wide variety of English earthenware until its closure in 1981.
