It reproduces one of the cat designs from an extraordinary Victorian Minton service preserved at Kingston Lacy in Dorset.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMade between 1873 and 1891, the original service features a different scene of cats on each piece. Royal Park China later recreated a selection of these much-loved designs for the National Trust, allowing a small part of the Kingston Lacy collection to find its way into other homes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe finely drawn cobalt-blue illustration captures all the humour and personality of the original Victorian design. With much of the white plate left undecorated, the image has a clean, almost contemporary appearance that makes it easy to mix with both old and modern pieces.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAt approximately 25.5 cm across, it has plenty of presence as a decorative plate.
