Product Description:

This vintage Beswick Dalmatian figurine (Model 1763) is a rare and unique version of Beswick’s classic dog sculptures. Unlike standard Beswick figurines, this piece is mounted on a promotional brick base for Steetley Brick & Tile Limited, making it a scarce advertising item that was likely produced in limited numbers for corporate gifting or promotional purposes.

We have two of these figurines available, both in exceptional vintage condition and still in their original Beswick boxes.

The hand-painted details bring the Dalmatian to life, capturing its distinctive spotted coat and attentive stance. The Beswick England backstamp on the underside of the dog confirms that it was produced post-WWII and likely before the early 1970s, before the company transitioned to Royal Doulton branding. Each figurine also retains its original green Beswick sticker—a wonderful detail for collectors.

Adding to their desirability, both figurines come in their original Beswick boxes, complete with the model number D1763 printed on a Beswick label. The original thin protective wrapping paper is also present, indicating that they have been carefully preserved over the years.

The boxes are in vintage condition, with some signs of age-related wear, including minor tears and creasing, but they still provide excellent protection for the figurines.
