Product Description

A rare and romantic twist on a British classic. This pair of Staffordshire Dogs features delicate pink rose patterns and gilded detailing, bringing soft femininity and a touch of playfulness to your space. With their glossy finish and quietly bold presence, they strike just the right balance between tradition and charm — perfect for interiors that celebrate character.

Made in Staffordshire by Oldcourt Ware — the decorative line of J. Fryer & Son, a family-run pottery with roots in the 1920s — these dogs were produced in the late 1970s to early 1980s, during the final years of Oldcourt’s original production. Their transfer-printed floral design captures the cheerful spirit of mid-century British ceramics, while their timeless silhouette continues to inspire interior trendsetters today.

Whether styled as a pair on a console or mixed into a curated corner, these dogs offer a sense of heritage with a fresh, contemporary edge. Ideal for lovers of English vintage, romantic modern homes, or anyone drawn to the current wave of nostalgic yet eclectic design.
