Product Description:
Sourced from a brocante in Paris, this charming vintage bowl features the distinctive Old Strasbourg floral pattern — known in France as “Réverbère Fin” — with a delicate rose motif at the centre and sprays of wildflowers around the rim. Finished with a softly faded pink border, it’s a piece that beautifully captures the rustic elegance of French tableware from the early 20th century.
This bowl was produced by K.G. Luneville, a celebrated pottery manufacturer based in northeastern France. With roots dating back to the 18th century, the Luneville factory became widely known for its colourful faience and decorative designs. The backstamp seen here is an earlier version, most likely from the 1890s to 1900s, and reflects the period before the factory ceased production later in the century.
Perfect for displaying fruit, serving at the table, or simply enjoyed as part of a curated vintage collection, this piece brings a sense of French countryside charm and history to the home.
