Product Description

A beautiful bud vase from Wedgwood’s much-loved Kutani Crane collection. Colourful birds are pictured among peonies, bamboo and flowering branches, with a fine gilt rim completing the design.

The vase has an elegant pear-shaped body and a slender, gently flared neck, creating a graceful silhouette. Perfect for displaying a single flower or a few delicate stems, it would also look beautiful with dried flowers or simply displayed on its own.

Its compact size makes it especially lovely as a centrepiece for a table for two, while it would also sit beautifully on a mantelpiece, dressing table or shelf, bringing colour and character to both classic and contemporary interiors.

Founded by Josiah Wedgwood in Staffordshire in 1759, Wedgwood is one of Britain’s most celebrated pottery manufacturers. The Kutani Crane pattern was introduced in 1971 and remained in production until 1998. Inspired by traditional Japanese Kutani decoration, it combines colourful birds and flowers with the refinement of English bone china.

The base carries the original Wedgwood “Bone China, Made in England, Kutani Crane” backstamp.
